One of the biggest transfer sagas may finally be over. Real Madrid have broken their silence and sent an official bid of 160 million euros for Kylian Mbappé to Paris. What does the PSG management say?

To play with Messi, Neymar, Ramos and Hakimi? No thanks. Mbappé would rather fulfil a childhood dream and wear the white jersey of Real Madrid. Plus, he’ll be the main star around which the new team will be built.

Now there’s only one thing to do. For PSG to accept the offer. Real Madrid have officially offered 160 million euros, a rather generous offer considering Mbappe’s contract expires next year.

However, if PSG management puts their heads together and doesn’t sell the Frenchman, he will leave for free next year. And given the financial fair-play, that probably wouldn’t be an entirely smart move.

Florentino Pérez has entered into negotiations with the Parisian big club, but PSG have yet to respond. They need to think carefully about the offer, as they had no plans to let Mbappé go. However, keeping a disgruntled player in the squad may not do any good.

Earlier, it was reported that if Mbappé eventually leaves, PSG will try to acquire Brazilian Richarlison from Everton. The end of the transfer window is on Tuesday 31 August, so Real Madrid have until then to negotiate.
