We bring you the current ranking of the eight most valuable footballers in the world. It is headed by two footballers, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé. They are followed by Brazilian youngster Vinicius in third place.

1. – 2nd place – Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé (€180 million)

The most valuable footballer in the world is Norwegian cannonballer Erling Haaland. He has shown his unprecedented productivity in all the teams he has played for, and is thriving beyond expectations at Manchester City. The English club thus has a great cannonballer in its ranks again after the departure of Agüero.

However, Kylian Mbappé is estimated to have the same value. Mbappé is also extremely productive, but he draws heavily on his speed in matches. As a result, he referees even matches both in a PSG jersey and in national team colours. Both footballers still have a lot to do and will surely entertain fans around the world with their play for many years to come.

3. place – Vinicius Junior (€150 million)

Vinicius is a player that Real Madrid practically groomed for big-time football. The Brazilian footballer arrived at Real in 2018 and has since developed into a key player. This can be seen in the trust the club’s management gives him, also in his estimated value, which currently stands at €150 million.

4. – 6th place – Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and Victor Osimhen (€120m)

The fourth place is occupied by a trio of players. One of them is Jude Bellingham, a central midfielder and the architect of Real Madrid’s game. In just a few games he has also shown that he can contribute to the team with a few accurate shots. He is thus an extremely productive midfielder who has his whole future ahead of him.

Bukayo Saka is still only 22 years old and is already a regular in Arsenal’s attacking trio. He is a productive striker who balances his goal contributions with more assists.

Victor Osimhen has had an extraordinary season. He scored 26 goals last season and became the top scorer in Serie A. He also has the most credit for winning the league title last season.

7. – 8th place – Jamal Musiala and Phil Foden (€110 million)

Jamal Musiala is the 20-year-old gem of Bayern Munich. The German player joined the Bavarian club in 2019 from Chelsea in England and the Bundesliga seems to suit him exceedingly well. He is currently a key player for Bayern.

Phil Foden has spent his entire career so far at Manchester City and it doesn’t look like he is heading to another club just yet. And no wonder. He is celebrating success with his team on the domestic and European stage, and he is also thriving individually. His current value is 110 million euros.
