And these are not the only problems of the fans of the unpopular club in the Czech Republic. The Gers fans are having a really unlucky week! Their manager Steven Gerrard left unexpectedly and reportedly did not even say goodbye to the players and the executive team. Then some of them accidentally bought tickets for the Danish league match between Brøndby IF and Randers, instead of Brøndby IF’s Europa League match with their Rangers FC! And now came the hardest blow yet.

The Scottish champion and the British media did not hesitate to attack the Czech children and accuse them of racism. Yet now 9 Rangers FC fans are heading to court over the same issue. Judgement? Almost none, but neither, presumably, did their former manager Steven Gerrard.

The racist incident for which some fans of the unpopular Scottish team will stand trial came ahead of the Old Firm derby on 29 August.

Matches between Rangers FC and Celtic have been heated since the club’s very existence and fans of both teams genuinely hate each other. The incident itself was supposed to have happened before the game in Glasgow city centre.

The object of the racial abuse was believed to be Kyogo Furuhashi, a skilful Japanese defending Celtic colours. Rangers FC may have won the home game 1-0, but the horizon of time shows what this club (or rather its fans) are really like.

Fans spew hate at their opponents, but a significant portion of the hate is now being spewed on social media by the until recently lauded and beloved Steven Gerrard.

It should be noted that the former Liverpool legend may deserve a bit of a haircut, as he claimed in a recent post-match interview that he wasn’t going anywhere. Stevie’s words, however, are mostly used, just as they suit him at the time.
