Jablonec are not doing well at all in the new season. However, Petr Rada’s charges are not disgraced in Europe. After three games played, they hold a promising second place in the group, two points behind the leader Alkmaar.
However, just behind the North Bohemian team are the Danish Randers with a point loss to Jablonec. Their recent showdown in Jablonec ended in a split of points.
The Danes have managed three matches since the aforementioned game, winning two and falling once to a strong Midtjylland side. Jablonec lost once, when they were beaten 5:0 by Plzeň, and then drew with Pardubice.
But back to the performances of both teams in the Conference League. Randers could have been in a better situation, but they lacked luck. In three games they hit the net five times, the most in the whole competition.
Interesting is the record of Jablonec’s last 17 away games in the European Cup. It does not count a single draw, only 5 duels Jablonec won, on the contrary, they collected 12 losses. This season, the North Czechs have won only 2 out of 10 away games.
Petr Rada’s charges will have to watch out for Stephen Odey, who has scored 6 goals in six competitive matches, 4 of them in the second half. He scored twice against Jablonec.
Despite the poor form of the team, Tomáš Čvančara shines in the jersey of the North Bohemian team, who has been the first goal scorer for Jablonec in four of the last five matches in which the team has scored. He also scored two goals against Randers.
Jablonec has then scored in the first half in six of its last seven games. Even in the first match against Randers, they scored within the first 45 minutes.
