Raków Czechostowa vs. Slavia Prague: Preview and betting tips

Slavia will enter the fourth round of the Conference League with a match against Raków Czechostowa. Although the Polish side may not have such a big name, they are a very unpleasant team not to be underestimated.

The Sixers enter the Conference Preliminary Round with a match against St. Joseph’s. They beat the Gibraltar opponent 4:0 and scored 7 goals at home.

In the third preliminary round, the lot didn’t smile too much at Slavia, as it awarded Panathinaikos to Eden. However, the Red Whites were able to cope with the famous Greek team as well, beating them 2:0 at home and drawing 1:1 away.

In the second round, Raków faced Kazakhstan’s Astana, which they demolished 5-0 at home and won away, this time 1-0. Then they faced Slovak Trnava, who they first beat 2:0 away and secured promotion at home after a 1:0 win.

Raków has not scored a goal in four cup matches. In addition, the defenders have allowed their opponents only 7 shots on goal in four games, which is an average of less than 2 shots on goal per game.

It is the defense that is Raków’s great strength. All three stoppers are approaching 190 centimeters, and that’s missing the injured Czech Tomas Petrasek, who has grown to 2 meters tall.

So there is no way to overcome the big defence, Raków is extremely strong in the air. In attack, the Spanish Ivi Lopez is a big threat, who has already scored three times in the prelims and scored 20 goals in the last edition of the Polish Ekstraklasa.

The first match is usually very cautious. However, this was also indicated by Slavia assistant coach Zdenek Houštecký, who expects a big conquest of Raków’s solid defensive block.

That’s why I don’t think a goal will fall in the first half. Slavia will have nowhere to rush and will not have to rush forward, as they have a home rematch on their backs. Raków will rely on solid defense and zero at the back.
