PSG youngster rewrites history and becomes youngest ever goalscorer

PSG didn’t allow any surprises during the twenty-first round of the French league and consolidated their position at the top of the table with the win. The 16-year-old, who became the youngest ever goalscorer in the club’s history, can celebrate.

The reigning champion of the French Ligue 1 recovered from a surprise defeat in the twentieth round, when they lost two points at home against Stade de Reims.

The match against Montpellier was not easy, especially the beginning of the match. First, Kylian Mbappé missed a penalty. He then sent the subsequent shot into the empty net over the crossbar and to make matters worse, the star footballer got injured.

As a result of this injury, his team will miss the Champions League match against Bayern Munich for the next three weeks.

Despite two disallowed goals, PSG eventually scored three goals against their opponents and were able to enjoy a 3-1 win. The last goal was scored by the 16-year-old Warren Zaire-Emery at the end of the match.

He scored his goal after a nice clearance on the right wing when he took advantage of a pass from Hakimi.

It was the aforementioned footballer who rewrote the history of the French club. At the age of 16 years and 330 days, he became the youngest ever goalscorer in the club’s history.

Especially in the second half of the season, the young midfielder and the club’s offspring is starting to earn starts in the first team.
