PSG is the best club in the world, everyone wants to play for them, says Ronaldinho. What did he say about Mbappe?
The legendary Ronaldinho recently visited Paris, and he couldn’t miss a visit to PSG’s club facilities, where he has worked in the past. As part of this, he also spoke briefly to the club’s YouTube channel. What did he say?
The legendary Ronaldinho recently visited Paris, and he couldn’t miss a visit to PSG’s club facilities, where he has worked in the past. As part of this, he also spoke briefly to the club’s YouTube channel. What did he say?
It was the summer of 2001 when PSG acquired the smiling Brazilian youngster from Gremio for €5 million. However, they didn’t keep him for long. After just two years, Ronaldinho left for Barcelona for less than 33 million.
In Catalonia, Ronaldinho fought his way to the Ballon d’Or and went down in history as one of the best footballers ever, making millions of people love football.
However, there is not much comparison between the PSG of today and then. It was certainly not the team that ruled France at the time, but it was certainly one of the better teams in Ligue 1.
In an interview with the club’s YouTube channel, Ronaldinho said that PSG is the best club in the world at the moment. “All the players want to play in Paris, the best players in the world are at PSG, so of course it’s the best club in the world,” the Brazilian is clear.
One of the topics of conversation was Kylian Mbappé, or rather his future. The player himself let it be known that he would like to move to Real Madrid, but the club did not allow him to do so. However, his contract expires in the summer, so it is in the stars how everything will turn out.
“I think Mbappé will be at PSG for a long time. It’s a world-class club, so staying would be a great step for his career. He has already achieved so many things at such a young age. All heneeds is the Champions League, it would be amazing if he could do it with PSG,” added Ronaldinho.
The legendary Brazilian then believes that PSG simply have to be favourites to win the Champions League given the players they have in their squad.
