Paris Saint-Germain are already preparing for Kylian Mbappé’s departure and are starting to look beyond his replacement, according to the latest reports. According to Spanish media, the French giant reportedly has two Barcelona stars on its radar.
The Saudi has turned down the offer, but will most likely move to Real Madrid, with the transfer fee expected to be around 250 million euros. That’s 200 million in cash, plus potentially another 50 million in bonuses.
There is virtually nothing preventing Kylian Mbappé’s transfer to the Spanish big club anymore, so PSG are understandably not only looking for his replacement.
It should be noted, for that amount of money you can already get very solid reinforcements. Victor Osimhen has been the most talked about replacement for Mbappé with a transfer to Paris, but these speculations have recently died down.
According to Football Espaňa, the Parisians have set their sights on other targets. And those should be Barcelona stars, specifically Pedri and Ousmane Dembélé.
PSG in particular are said to be very interested in the latter. And no wonder, as Dembélé has an exit clause set at only 50 million euros.
However, according to the Spanish media, the management of the Parisian club is also interested in Pedri. Despite the fact that the 20-year-old midfielder has an exit clause set at 110 million, the Parisians would have to pay 1 billion euros to activate his clause at all.
It may seem like a paradox that this interest was not initiated by PSG coach Luis Enrique. So how realistic is the transfer of Dembélé or Pedri?
In the first case, it would be a logical move on the whole, but as for Pedri, he himself sees his future in the Catalan big club.
