PSG has run out of patience, Mbappé will not fly with the team for the pre-season tour. What’s next?

It was already clear during last season that several sagas were in store. But two in particular were and are being closely watched, one of which is already behind us, as Lionel Messi signed for Inter Miami as a free agent after ending up at PSG, where he has already managed to score his debut goal.

But Kylian Mbappé does not yet know where he will play. He wanted to spend another season at PSG, but his contract expires in a year, he doesn’t want to renew it and the club doesn’t want to let him go for free after the season. A difficult situation for both sides.

The French champion flies to Asia on Saturday for a pre-season tour, specifically to Japan and South Korea. Mbappé is not going anywhere. Apparently, PSG ran out of patience and the club’s move was reported not only by Fabrizio Romano, but also by leading French media and Sky Sports.

PSG believes that Mbappé has already tentatively agreed with Real Madrid to leave for Spain for a year for free. Moreover, he does not want to be bypassed and so intends to handle the situation in his own way. He will wait for offers and will probably accept the highest one.

According to the French server RMC Sport, one English club and one team from Saudi Arabia are interested in Mbappé. It is not clear which English club it will be. From the Middle East, however, Al-Hilal is interested in the player.

So it’s a question of what happens next. Mbappé has not commented publicly on the situation and we can only speculate for now. In any case, PSG is showing that they are not going to make any more concessions.
