PSG managed to beat Angers at home on Friday night and returned to their winning ways. But was it some sort of demolition and a well-deserved result? That’s up for debate. The same can be argued about the winning goal, which was scored by Kylian Mbappé from the penalty spot.

Kylian Mbappé was the star of Friday’s match between PSG and Angers. He made an important turnaround and earned three points. First he assisted Danilo’s equalising goal, then he made the turn at the end of the match from a penalty.

PSG won 2-1, dominated the possession of the ball, but Angers can boast a decent and good performance.

Moreover, there is a lot of talk about the regularity of the winning goal of the Parisians. It came from a penalty after Romain Thomas played his hand in the penalty area.

The Angers defender did not object to the hand. So what’s wrong with him? According to his own words, he was fouled by Mauro Icardi before the whole situation. Moreover, the referee checked everything on the video and decided to call a penalty.

“It’s unbelievable what happened. To lose 2-1 by a goal at the end of the game is not a disgrace, but to lose like that? That’s impossible. We have been preparing all week and then the referee does this?” he expressed dejectedly to Prime Video.

PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino expressed his sympathy for Angers after the game. However, he did not see the replays, so he did not know how the whole situation actually went down. But he has already felt the feelings of injustice himself, which is why he can put himself in the opponent’s shoes.
