PSG crisis: Messi and co. lose three games in a row for the first time since Qatari owners took over
Unprecedented. PSG have lost three games in a row, something that hasn’t happened since the Qatari owners took over. Messi and co. have even lost more games in a month than they did in all of last year.

The cruel defeat to Bayern in the Champions League eighth-final has put PSG in an awkward position. They will have to make up for the loss at the Allianz Arena, but it won’t be easy against a team playing against the Bavarians.
Moreover, the Parisians are in a major crisis, as the defeat to Bayern was their third in a row. At the weekend, PSG lost to Monaco 1:3, before losing to Marseille in the Coupe de France.
Three confrontations with tougher opponents and three defeats. Something previously unimaginable, three defeats in a row were last recorded by PSG in 2011, just after the entry of the Qatari owners.
The start of 2023 has been disastrous for the Parisian colossus. In a month and a half, PSG have already lost five games, more than in the whole of 2022, when Messi and co. came up empty only four times.
Marseille, Monaco, Bayern Munich, Rennes and Lens have already taken on PSG this season and with their current form, it’s not out of the question that other teams will do the same.
Messi and Neymar put in a really poor performance against Bayern, by walking in the middle they were virtually cut off from the rest of the team.
The only one who managed to kick the faded team was substitute Kylian Mbappé, who tried to save PSG from another embarrassing exit in the eighth round.
However, Christopher Galtier has a lot of work to do if the Parisians are to advance to the quarter-finals. The mood in the cabin is certainly not ideal right now.
