PSG continue in the Champions League thanks to Newcastle turnaround, Barcelona fall to Antwerp

The autumn part of the Champions League is over. On Wednesday, teams were still fighting for the promotion places and we know who will play the millionaire competition in the spring. Some will settle for the Europa League playoffs, others will be able to focus on their league in the spring. How did Wednesday’s games go?

The second match, on the other hand, was very important for both teams. Porto didn’t leave anything to chance at home and shot Shakhtar 5:3. The Ukrainian team will now play in the Champions League and the Ukrainian team is heading to the Europa League play-offs.

Atlético Madrid hosted Lazio at home and it was a direct battle for first place. Lazio had to win, but the Madrid team proved their quality and deservedly won 2: 0. In a match played in parallel, Feyenoord fell to Celtic but will still play in the Europa League.

The group of death was interesting until the last minutes. Borussia Dortmund’s clash with PSG offered two goals and a 1: 1 draw. As a result, both will play in the Champions League, the Germans from the top spot.
