The UFC regularly posts various videos, preview cuts or rankings on its YouTube channel. Now comes the list of the ten best knockouts in welterweight history.
The prestigious top ten includes Moravian fighter Jiri Prochazka, who has only had two fights in the organization. His last fight with Dominick Reyes was included in the video.
Reyes was supposed to be a big test for Procházka, but in the second round the native of Hostěradice literally shut him down with an elbow from a turn.
The beautiful knockout received nominations for KO of the Year awards on various combat sports sites, even the UFC recognized him as such.
Placing in the top ten KO’s in the UFC’s welterweight division is therefore a beautiful calling card. In the video we don’t have to wait long for a reminder of the big win, we find Prochazek’s fight at 1:10.
However, Prochazka still has many fights ahead of him. He will face Glover Teixeira for the championship belt at UFC 274. So he may get a few more opportunities to place in videos like this.
