In the summer, the French striker took an important step towards being happy again and giving performances that will amaze and delight football fans. He has done that in the past at Juventus.
And now he has returned to Turin to show that, at 29, he is definitely not a wasted huge talent. But without playing a single game, he will be missed by the Italian club until at least the start of the new year.
The reason, of course, is that the season will be disrupted by the World Cup, which will take place unconventionally in November and December. Otherwise, it is expected that Paul Pogba could be healthy just before the start of the national top event.
By all predictions, Pogba will be out for 40 to 60 days following meniscus surgery. If the worst-case scenarios come true, he will have just 18 days to get fit.
Back in August, French national team coach Didier Deschamps said that Pogba would definitely make it to the World Cup. He was convinced that his absence would be for a few weeks at most.
However, the French midfielder had to undergo surgery, which he initially avoided. If he were to miss the World Cup, it would be a big loss for France.
