Viktor Pest has his first game in his new PFL organization. On Thursday morning we will see his fight with Omarin Akhmedov, who was in the famous UFC just a year ago.
The former champion of the Octagon organization has a weigh-in he has completed. Thus, Viktor Peshta will be making his PFL debut, taking on Russia’s Omarin Akhmedov.
The latter was still fighting under the UFC banner last summer, but after eight years, he switched to the PFL. Together, they will therefore compete in the million dollar pyramid.
“It’s 4 to 5 fights to the top of the pyramid, the PFL hasn’t announced the exact number of fighters yet. The wrestling pace here is relatively high if all goes according to plan,” Peshta said on Instagram.
The match takes place in Arlington, Texas on Wednesday, but Czech fans won’t see it until after midnight. Plus, it won’t even cost them anything.
“If you’re in the Czech Republic, you can watch the game for free on PFL YouTube. My game should be on at about 1 a.m. I’ll be glad if you watch,” the wrestler announced.
He is very happy for the PFL contract, as he says he is getting better money than what he is currently making in the UFC. However, he would not say the exact amount.
