Pest already knows his opponent for KSW tournament in Liberec! It will be Martinek’s conqueror Omielańczuk
After a season in the PFL, Viktor Pešta is changing stables again. This time he signed a contract with KSW in Poland, where he basically replaced the injured Michal Martinek at the tournament in Liberec. Now he already knows his opponent, it is the last defeater of the already mentioned Kratos.

In the past, Pest became the second Czech in the UFC, but that’s long gone. The Czech fighter tried a season in the PFL last year, but he didn’t do well in that one and now he’s back in Europe.
He had several offers, but finally decided to listen to the lure of KSW, the biggest European organization. But for the first time he will be in the Czech Republic, as the organization will have a tournament in Liberec.
And it was here that he basically replaced Michal Martinek, who had to withdraw from the tournament due to injury. But he has a lot in common with Martinek.
In the past, Martinek broke Pest’s jaw and won. There was talk of a rematch in KSW, which we may see in the future.
However, Peshta has already announced an opponent for the Liberec tournament. And it’s a Polish veteran who also has a lot of experience with the UFC.
We’re talking about 40-year-old Daniel Omielańczuk, who has been out of the UFC and for a long time in the ACA and since 2022 has been back in the Polish KSW.
“There were other offers, but we liked the one from KSW the most. It’s not just about the money, it’s also about how the contract is built, what the potential opponents are like,” Pest told Kaocko.cz.
Interestingly, Omielańczuk’s last fight was with Martinek, whom he beat on points. Will Pešta manage to avenge his Czech rival?
