It was clear that it had to come sooner or later. Although nobody wished Pedri an injury, it was inevitable. The youngster from Barcelona played over 70 games and without a break he immediately joined the training. Now he has paid the price.

After that he didn’t go to the national team meeting, but finally got a few days off. However, he shortened his leave by 2 days to join Barcelona’s training process.

He played the full 90 minutes against Bayern, but did not prevent the 0:3 defeat. He also injured the quadriceps muscle in his left thigh. The length of his absence is not yet known, only his recovery will determine that.
