Paulo Dybala left Juventus at the end of last season and is currently a free agent. The Argentine international has reportedly reduced his salary demands to €6 million per season.
Many believed he would join Inter Milan, but the return of Romelu Lukaku on loan means the transfer will not happen.
Dybala is currently in limbo about his next club and apparently the demands have been reduced. One reason for this could be the Argentine’s health. He has struggled with injuries in recent years and only made 29 league appearances last season.
Angelo Mangiante of Sky Sport claims that the 28-year-old is willing to accept a lower salary to sort out his future.
This means that Dybala’s weekly salary will be around €115,000. For perspective, that’s less than most Manchester United and Manchester City players. And it is the first mentioned club that is one of the many that are keeping a close eye on Dybala.
He already had the option to move to Old Trafford in 2019, but chose to stay at Juventus despite being told by then-teammate Cristiano Ronaldo that he would “become a champion” in Manchester.
The striker is a five-time Serie A winner and was instrumental in Argentina’s triumph over Italy in the Finalissimo last month. He scored 115 goals in 293 games for Juventus.
Roma are also interested in him with Jose Mourinho keen to bring a serial winner to the Stadio Olimpico.
