Paul Pogba’s documentary ‘The Pogmentary’ has a very poor rating of 1.0 out of 10 and is the lowest rated TV show or film on IMDb. On CSFD, the documentary has only one percent.

‘The Pogmentary’ premiered last week on Amazon Prime. The documentary provides insight into the life and career of the star midfielder.

The series looks at Pogba’s time at Manchester United and the reasons for his departure from the club, but has been met with criticism for the midfielder’s apparent arrogance.

However, the documentary was met with a huge backlash from fans and critics alike and absolutely flopped on IMDb.

At this moment, it has a rating of 1.0 out of 10, making it the lowest rated TV show on this online database. The second lowest rated show is the Turkish music series “Iste Bu Benim Masalim”, which has a rating of 1.2 out of 10.

Part of the documentary, for example, refers to Pogba and his late agent Mino Raiola talking about a contract offer from the club last summer that was reportedly £300,000. For Pogba and his agent it was “nothing”.

Raiola told Pogba. The player replied

Raiola replied to his client: No, but they definitely want you to stay. I said: ‘ If you want him to stay, don’t make this offer.’

I’ll let them know that if they really want you to stay and they want to build a project around you, they have to act differently this time and put the right money on the table

Pogba then replies: They are bluffing, how can you tell a player you absolutely want him and offer him nothing? I’ve never seen that before.’

The public reaction

IMDB users have also written more than 400 reviews for the series. Most have described Pogba as “crazy”, “self-centred” or “childish”.

Even on Twitter, there were responses to Pogba, with one fan writing: ‘ The audacity to call 300k a week ‘nothing’ when you’ve only had a handful of good performances’.

He moved to Manchester in 2016 for a record £89million. He made 226 appearances in six games.

His best season came in 2018/19, when Pogba returned to United revitalised after France won the World Cup and scored 13 goals in 35 league games. He was named in the PFA team of the year that year.

The 29-year-old, who spent six seasons at Old Trafford, will leave the club at the end of June when his contract expires. He will return to Juventus in the summer, where he spent the best period of his career.
