The fifth round of the Premier League pitted Manchester United and West Ham, where 3 Czechs are playing. The match ended 2-1 to United, but there was some unpleasantness between Paul Pogba and West Ham fans.

West Ham took the lead, but Cristiano Ronaldo equalised after a while and Jesse Lingard turned the game around in the 89th minute. Then in the last minute, Mark Noble missed a penalty and the match ended 2-1 to Manchester United.

No wonder West Ham fans took the loss very badly. As the Red Devils players left the pitch, one fan shouted at Pogba: “Shut your f***ing mouth!”

Pogba laughed at first, but when the abuse continued he almost lunged at the fan, all was eventually resolved by Michael Carrick who calmed the French midfielder down and took him away.

However, it was probably Pogba himself who provoked everything when he started gesticulating towards the Hammers’ supporters after the game. And they, of course, weren’t having any of it.

Watch the video for yourself to see how the whole situation unfolded.

We can probably be glad that Carrick stepped in and took Pogba away. Who knows how the situation would have gone on if he hadn’t intervened. Fortunately, there was no continuation of the unpleasant incident and the players of the visiting team could go and celebrate.
