Jake Paul has another win under his belt and he’s hearing from all sides that it was all a foregone conclusion. Logically, this offends him, but there’s not much he can do about it.
But now he has found an interesting way to show his qualities to UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett, who is becoming more and more popular.
Indeed, it was Pimblett who was talking about a possible underpayment of Anderson Silva, and thus Paul decided to take on a challenge that will be interesting for the English eater.
“Man, I really wanted to like you. You’ve got something endearing about you, man. But then you come out and say my fight with Anderson Silva was rigged. I’m sick of all the explaining and denying conspiracies.
But I have a suggestion for you: Since you wouldn’t want to fix the fight, would you, let’s spar. We’ll fly you to Puerto Rico, get you a private jet, and we can have five three-minute rounds of boxing. If you win, I’ll give you a million dollars, which is the amount you deserve, Paddy.
You know that, but the UFC won’t pay you. You deserve more. But if I win, you need to join the United Fighting Association (UFA) and help me sign all the fighters in the UK. So let’s go sparring,” he told him via social media.
Rather elegantly, this is his way of trying to lure Pimblett into an association that should greatly help the world of combat sports. The goal, after all, is better health care and earnings.
It is also for this reason that Paul is not on good terms with UFC President Dana White, whom he has accused of skinning fighters on numerous occasions.
