The Czech Republic has another representative in the best MMA organization in the world. Tereza Bledá has signed a four-fight contract and made her dream come true. A month ago, she had to bite back the disappointment that even a dominant performance in Contender didn’t lead to a contract.
Now, however, she has and she won’t have to wait long at all for her first fight. She turned down the original offer she received the day after Contender because of a last minute fight at a higher weight. She now has just over a month to prepare for her first fight.
According to respected journalist Marcel Dorff, who regularly announces UFC fights before they are officially announced, she will make her first appearance in the star organization’s cage on November 19 in Las Vegas.
The undefeated Czech is not expecting anything easy. She will face a skilled and talented Brazilian, who is also considerably more experienced, in an unranked tournament.
Namely, Natalia Silva, who is now 25 years old and has already played 19 matches with a record of 13 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw. She currently holds a streak of 7 wins in a row. 1 of those fights were in the UFC.
The Brazilian is particularly proud of her great jiu-jitsu, however, she is no stranger to stand-up. However, she is especially threatened by submissions, which is where she has finished more than half of her fights won.
It is worth noting, however, that in the Fight Matrix world rankings, Bledá is ahead of her opponent. While the former Octagon champion is ranked 27th, Silva holds the 29th position.
