The first of June is the date on which the official 26-man rosters of all teams for the EURO football tournament, which runs from 11 June to 11 July, are closed. Who nominated who? We bring you a detailed overview!

The following rules apply to the rosters for the European Championships:

  • A maximum of 26 footballers can make up a squad.
  • Once the roster is confirmed, any number of changes can be made before the first match of the tournament, but only if a player is seriously injured or tests positive for covid-19.
  • Goalkeepers may be replaced in the line-up at any time during the championship due to medical indisposition.
  • Once a player has been removed, he cannot be placed back on the roster.
