Ousou is starting to win the hearts of the Slavs! How did he, the goal scorer Kuchta and the birthday boy Traoré evaluate the match?
Post-match interviews are always much more pleasant after a win than after a loss. What did the young Swede Aiham Ousou do to win over the fans? And how did Jan Kuchta and Ibrahim Traoré evaluate the match against Union Berlin?
Post-match interviews are always much more pleasant after a win than after a loss. What did the young Swede Aiham Ousou do to win over the fans? And how did Jan Kuchta and Ibrahim Traoré evaluate the match against Union Berlin?
Evaluation of the Slavic trio
The entire trio of Slavs independently agreed that the fans formed a great backdrop. They sang the praises of the Slavic supporters, but they also praised the loud guests from Berlin.
Aiham Ousou won the hearts of the Slavs with a very likeable performance, but above all with the huge tribute he paid to the fans. “I saw that they (Union Berlin) have a lot of fans here, but our fans are on a different level. With their support you play great, which is amazing.”
In his interview, Jan Kuchta revealed a football secret that the football public has been puzzling over for decades. Basically, he said that there are no random goals and for every goal, many micro-events have to come together. Thus, he refuted the superstitions about accidental goal scorers who can only stand up well and score easy goals.
“I ran with the situation and I counted on the fact that it could bounce back to me and it did. This looks like it’s free goals, but it’s just not. I’m glad that I helped the team like that at the end of the game,” commented the goal scorer Jan Kuchta.
Ibrahim Traoré (33 years old) started in the starting line-up of Slavia and played 81 minutes. The gift of a victory over a Bundesliga team is not to be missed and who knows if Traoré got any more surprises after the match.
“First home win in the EKL. It’s my birthday. Three points, three goals, I’m very happy,” said the midfielder.
“Last year was football without fans, it was not good. The match hadn’t even started and already the atmosphere was noticeable. That’s why we love football, the fans are amazing. I would like to thank them for supporting us every game, we love them and thank them,” he said about the atmosphere in Eden.
When asked about his birthday present, Traoré could not give a clear answer.
“Everyone wished me in the morning. I have great teammates, the whole Slavia team is amazing, I love it here. I don’t know, maybe they have something prepared.”
