Our year has always been strong! We started to meet in the league, says Daněk after his first goal for the Lvičata

The Czech U21 national team also won their second European qualifying match, beating Albania 4:0. Kryštof Daněk from Olomouc, who could be one of the driving forces of this team, despite being one of the youngest players, scored one goal.
Kryštof Daněk is only 18 years old, yet he could be one of the most important players for the Lions in the current cycle.
Against Slovenia, he came off the bench with the same age Adam Karabec and got the game moving, both of them then started against Albania in the starting line-up.
Danek praised his team in the post-match conference. “Our year has always been strong, we started to meet in the league and I think we are all going in the right direction,” he said.
In fact, apart from Karabec, 18-year-old Martin Vitík also started in the starting lineup. Daněk is also a stable member of Olomouc Sigma, where he has already played 31 league games, scoring two goals in five games so far this season.
Now he has also scored his first goal for the Lvičata. “Albania helped us with mistakes, but we could have scored more goals. We improved a lot how much we are in the penalty area and overall we played faster.
Albania defended very deep, it’s hard to play against that. After the third goal they completely laid down and after the red card they pulled even more. We are glad we scored at least the fourth goal,” he added.
He then praised the fans, who came to České Budějovice in quite large numbers, with more than 1 500 people supporting the Czech team.
