Osasuna vs. Valencia: Preview and betting tips
After the national break, football returns to the Spanish league. Valencia’s bats are still keeping pace with Real, Atletico and Barcelona, but now they face a nasty Osasuna. How will they fare?
After the national break, football returns to the Spanish league. Valencia’s bats are still keeping pace with Real, Atletico and Barcelona, but now they face a nasty Osasuna. How will they fare?
Osasuna can be satisfied after three rounds, they have five points and are in a nice eighth place in the table. So far they have not known the bitterness of defeat, having added a win after drawing their first two games.
Valencia are even better off. After two miserable years, it seems to be back on top, with seven points after three games, the same as first-placed Atletico. They have beaten Getafe, drawn with Granada and won against Alavés.
Roberto Torres has been good from the start of the season, the skilful midfielder scored one goal and assisted once to set up the win over Cadiz. Goalkeeper Sergio Herrera also performed well, keeping two clean sheets.
Valencia is relying on goals from Carlos Soler, the Spanish international has scored in all three rounds. The winger Goancalo Guedes (1+1) and Daniel Wass (1+0) are also in good form.
Osasuna rely on a solid defence, having scored more than one goal in only one of their last four league games.
Valencia have been unsuccessful on their opponents’ pitches and have not won five league games away from home (0-2-3).
Given Valencia’s good form and experienced squad, I recommend betting on them not to lose.
