The scorer of the decisive goal in Turkey was very excited after the match. Every player of Slavia did his best and the players appreciated the win very much. In the home rematch they will have a one-goal lead over their opponents.

”We are very happy that we made it here. It’s avery valuable and huge victory for us,” Ondřej Lingr told the Slavic fans on TV Slavia.

Ondřej Lingr scored Slavia’s third goal, which meant a 3:1 lead. Lingr ran down the right side with the ball on his kicks at the decisive moment.

The shooter’s original idea was to head it to the front post, he says in an interview. Nevertheless, he beat the goalkeeper by heading the ball to the far post.

Ondrej Lingr only entered the game in the second half. How did he react to the substitution? ”Well, a classic. I’m always ready. I should have gone in the first half, but I didn’t go until halftime. I’m very happy that I helped my team a lot. I’m glad I made the decision again.”

At the end of the interview there was a question about the home fan support for Fenerbahce. The Slavic midfielder was delighted with the atmosphere created by the fans at the stadium.

However, he complained a bit that the number of people he expected in the stands was not as high. He described the atmosphere as fantastic, but expects the Czech fans to create a better one next week in Eden.

Apart from Lingr, Ibrahim Traore and Oscar Dorley scored for Slavia. Slavia won the first leg 3-2. The rematch will take place next Thursday in Eden. Slavia have a great chance to advance to the eighth round.
