After the Red Devils’ terrible performance against Liverpool, many fans wanted Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be removed from his job. However, Manchester United have come out with a statement that Solskjaer will remain in his position.
There is not much good feeling among all the fans of the red part of Manchester. The club has won only a single point from their last four league games with a draw against Everton. However, the management wants to focus on improving in the next matches.
There is a lot of speculation coming from outside about the departure or sacking of the United coach, but despite the poor results and the dislike of the fans, it looks like Solskjaer’s job is not in danger.
Manchester United have tough Premier League clashes with Tottenham and Manchester City in their next few games. They will then face Atalanta in the Champions League. The management now reckons it would not be a good move to sack the coach at the moment.
Italian manager Antonio Conte has been in contact with Manchester United management about a possible vacancy, but no close agreement has been reached as there is no vacancy.
Solskjaer stands by the fact that he is the right man for Manchester United as manager. Although he has experienced the blackest game in his career as a manager, as he said, he is confident that he will experience success with the club in the near future.
