Bodo/Glimt are currently languishing in fifth position in the Norwegian top flight, but they could jump up the table on Saturday. They travel to Odd Greenland, what to expect from the game?
Grenland have won their last two games (one in the league and one in the cup), but they cannot be satisfied. They are only tenth in the table, just four points ahead of barrage Valerenga.
Even Glimt is coming into its own. He has won his last four games, and in the cup he saved his progress only in the 90th minute. As the favourite in the competition, they are only fifth in the table, eight points behind first-placed Lillestrom.
The home side are relying on goals from Tobias Lauritsen, the young striker has netted five goals so far. Serbian-born winger Milan Jevtovic, with experience from CZ Belgrade and Apoel Nicosia, has scored four times and assisted on one other goal.
In the visitors’ jersey, it is Amahl Pellegrino who is burning it up, the experienced winger has scored seven times and assisted twice in the league. Team captain Ulrik Saltnes has scored twice and assisted on four goals from the central midfield position.
Greenland’s offensive struggles are the third worst, with only one goal scored in the last nine rounds.
Bodo, on the other hand, stands on offense, scoring more than once in six of their last eight games.
Given Bodo’s excellent offensive form, I think they will win.
