Now that’s beautiful! See what the car Kimi Räikkönen will drive in the NASCAR race looks like

Kimi Räikkönen, who retired at the end of last year, is back to racing again. This time, however, not in the Queen of Motorsport Grand Prix, but in the NASCAR series. And the car he’ll be driving is truly magnificent!
His break from racing and motorsport didn’t last long. Räikkönen said after his departure that he wouldn’t miss Formula One one one bit. The same goes for racing in general, the Finnish legend simply wanted to take a break from travelling and all the activities associated with it and focus on his family.
Perhaps the only kind of motorsport that was in the cards at the time was karting, for which Räikkönen has had a love since a very young age.
It should be noted, however, that professional racers simply miss the adrenaline rush after their careers are over. The feeling of getting into a race car, putting on a helmet and concentrating on their performance.
So recently, Räikkönen announced that he will be competing in a NASCAR race on August 21 at the iconic Watkins Glen circuit. This circuit, in fact, hosted Formula One races as part of the US Grand Prix from 1961 to 1980.
In addition to him, former F1 driver Daniil Kvyat and 2010 Le Mans winner Mike Rockenfeller are also expected to take part in the race.
The 44-year-old Finn, however, already has some NASCAR experience, having competed in an Xfinity Series race and one Truck Series race in 2011 during his hiatus from F1.
Trackhouse Racing
Räikkönen will now join the Trackhouse Racing team, which has already scored two victories this year. Ross Chastain took the first at COTA, while Daniel Suarez took the second for the team at Sonoma.
Typically, though, Trackhouse Racing gives drivers from other racing series a chance and puts a third car in the race. This project has been named Project 91, which is one of the reasons why Räikkönen will have that number on his car.
The former Ferrari, Lotus and McLaren driver will be in the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, which looks really beautiful.
