Alfa Romeo will be flying the Italian tricolour flag on its cars for the Italian Grand Prix to celebrate the history associated with the legendary Monza circuit.
More than seven decades after Nino Farina won the first Formula One World Championship behind the wheel of the Alfetta 158, the Alfa Romeo 2021 C41s will feature a new look created by the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo design team.
Monza is the circuit where Alfa Romeo won its first ever title with the aforementioned Alfetta 158.
The overalls of Robert Kubica and Antonio Giovinazzi will, of course, also have a different colour scheme. One that will match this unusual colouring.
However, in the opening practice session, neither driver impressed too much. Giovinazzi ended his FP1 stint in position number 13, while Kubica was as high as 16th.
