Novak Djokovic, the world number one in tennis, is not having a good time in his career. He has missed several tournaments due to refusal of vaccinations, and now he participated in the tournament in Monte Carlo, but dropped out in the second round.
Novak Djokovic lost to Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich in the second round in Monte Carlo, losing 1: 2 sets. He lost the first set 3::6, managed to capture the second set 7::6, but lost the deciding set 1::6. He narrowly avoided a canary in the third set.
It was Djokovic’s second tournament of the year. The first one took place in Dubai in February. There, Novak Djokovic reached the quarterfinals, where he fell to Czech tennis player Jiri Vesely.
By refusing vaccinations, the Serbian tennis player has already missed several major tennis tournaments. He could not even take part in the Grand Slam in Australia.
This break in play is noticeable, he is not sufficiently rangy, and so he cannot reach for more significant successes.
The match between Djokovic and Davidovich lasted almost 3 hours. Djokovic showed that he hasn’t played for a long time. He lost his serve three times in the first set and in the final set he simply didn’t have the strength, but he could resist the Spaniard.
It will be a great lifetime achievement for the young Davidovich. He managed to defeat the world number one and take her serve nine times.
All in all, this is only the second victory for the Spaniard against a player who is ranked in the world’s top ten tennis players.
