Leeds take on Norwich in the tenth round of the Premier League. Both teams are performing below expectations, both are in the last quarter of the league and both need to win on Sunday. What to expect from the game?
Norwich are the beaters of the competition so far, on the other hand they had a very tough draw for the first nine rounds. Two points is still simply not enough, they are already five points behind the non-relegation places.
Leeds are also doing badly compared to last season. Seven points in nine games is not much, the Peacocks are already only three points behind eighteenth place. So they will want to win on Sunday.
It’s hard to praise anyone in the home team. We see positive glimpses in midfielder Billy Gilmour, while much more was expected from forwards Teemu Pukki and Josh Sargent.
Leeds are kept afloat by a diamond in the rough in the shape of Raphinha, the Brazilian winger has hit three times in the league. Nineteen year old Joe Gelhardt is also on the rise, he won a penalty in the last round for example.
Norwich are struggling in attack and have not scored in five games. But the same can be said for Leeds, who have scored just five goals in their last eight games.
Considering the Raphinha factor and the zero attack of the home team, I think Leeds will win.
Betting tip l Leeds to win at odds of 2.11
