Nomination of the national team for Albania: Jurecka, Chytil and Kuchta have been selected, but Vaclik is missing

The Czech national football team will meet again after a few months. This time for a qualifying match for the European Championship against Albania. Coach Jaroslav Šilhavý nominated thirteen players from foreign competitions and ten from the Fortuna League.

In addition to the qualifying match, the Czechs will also play a friendly against Hungary. The duel with Albania is scheduled for Thursday 7 September at 20:45 in Fortuna Arena. Three days later, the national team will play Hungary in Puskás Arena.

The nomination is missing long-time number one Tomas Vaclik for a simple reason. He played his last club match in April, since then he has been looking for a job, which he found a few days ago in the MLS.

“But if he is able to play in America and is in the right shape, we will of course continue to count on him,” said coach Jaroslav Šilhavý at the press conference.

Šilhavý called up Tomáš Koubek, Jiří Pavlenka and Jindřich Stanek to the goal. The biggest representation is Slavia, from where the coach of the national team called up 5 players + Ondrej Lingr, who a few days ago also belonged to the Sešiovans. Spartans are going four.

Šilhavý will have Jakub Brabec, Vladimír Coufal, David Douděra, Tomáš Holeš, Ladislav Krejčí, Patrizio Stronati, Jaroslav Zelený and David Zima available for the defence.

In the midfield he will count on Václav Černý, Alex Kral, Ondrej Lingre, Lukas Provod, Lukas and Michal Sadílek and Tomas Soucek.

The coach called up five forwards – Tomáš Čvančara, Adam Hložek, Mojmir Chytil, Václav Jurečka and Jan Kuchta.

David Jurásek and Patrik Schick are missing from the roster. Soucek, who was substituted at the weekend due to a head-on collision with an opponent, should be fit.
