Martin Buday made his dream come true and won a place in the most prestigious MMA organization in the world in Contender Series. He is now waiting for his first fight in the UFC.
However, he injured his nose in his last fight, so he will rest for a few months. “There’s no telling when the next fight will be. It all depends on the nose injury, of course.
I still have other things. For example, my elbows have been bothering me for a while, so I need to get it all sorted out and then some dates, fights and options can start to be worked out,” Buday said in an interview with MMA Shorties.
The Octagon heavyweight champion still holds the belt, but logically it will be taken away from him after he left the organization. Buday agreed to that in the interview.
One of the biggest domestic fights of the year awaits us at the end of this year, Samuel Kristofich will fight Patrik Kinclo for the middleweight title. The Pirate is Buday’s training partner, what did he say about him?
“He will be ready for every aspect of the fight – stance and ground. Of course, he will also be conditioned. He’s already had five-round fights. It’s nothing new for him. He’s taking a thorough approach to his preparation. He is working hard and SFG will have another champion,” Buday added.
MMA Shorties expects to see his fight in the spring. So let’s hope this debut is a success.
