No change in Spain! The supercomputer has awarded another league title to Real Madrid
Last season, Real Madrid won the Spanish title, which did not go down well with arch rivals Barcelona, who immediately announced an attack to win the title next season. But so far, it doesn’t look like anything is going to change as the Spanish supercomputer has attributed the La Liga victory to Real Madrid.
Last season, Real Madrid walked away with the La Liga title. It was a surprisingly easy title, with the White Ballet leading by thirteen points. In the last few rounds, they could afford to rotate their line-up considerably.
Barcelona also had a relatively successful season, although they did not win the title. In fact, the Catalan club was going through a financial and playing crisis and it seems that after the arrival of Xavi on the bench, the club has already found its face in terms of playing.
Second place, however, is not a goal that is compatible with Barcelona’s ambitions. Thus, it immediately declared an attack for the title next season and backed up its declaration with the purchase of several reinforcements.
According to the Spanish supercomputer, however, this is not supposed to be enough. The sophisticated system has attributed the title win to Real Madrid, which according to it has almost a forty percent chance of succeeding. Barcelona, on the other hand, is expected to finish second and could win the title with only twenty-five percent.
Unsurprisingly, Atlético Madrid are expected to finish in bronze position, as they did last season. Fourth, according to the calculations, should be Villarreal.
It should be noted, however, that we are still at the start of a new season in which anything can happen. One of the outsiders could rise up and surprisingly dethrone Real from the Spanish throne. In any case, the decision will be made on the pitch.
