A police search is underway at Juventus’ premises, dealing with documents relating to the 2019-21 accounts.
There are six suspects under investigation by the Turin prosecutor and the financial police have launched a manhunt against them.
They are president Andrea Agnelli, vice-president Pavel Nedved, Fabio Paratici, Stefano Cerrato, Stefano Bertola and Marco Reho.
The investigation began in May this year. According to the information available, the replacement of Miralem Pjanic with Arthur will also be addressed.
“At the moment, the activities are more focused on establishing the hypothesis of a criminal offence, false statements and invoicing of non-existent transactions towards top management,” explained the Turin prosecutor.
We will have to wait for the verdict. But Nedved and co. are certainly not having the best days of their lives, and if the suspicions are proven, nothing good awaits them in the months or years to come.
