The Eastern Conference was ruled by Brunson

Jalen Brunson was the best player for the New York Knicks again, leading them to four straight wins. He averaged over 27 points per game, attacked the 10 rebound mark, and dished out over 3 assists per game to boot.

The Player of the Week award was awarded to Brunson for the second time this season. He surpassed De’Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings and the current season’s leading scorer Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers.

In addition, he is well above his career points per game average this season. By more than ten points. Over the course of the season, he has over 25 points per game, making him one of the league’s best scorers.
