A very interesting encounter awaits the Czech national team. First, it will meet Switzerland in Eden on 2 June, then it will challenge Spain on 5 June. Then it will travel to Portugal and play Spain again in Málaga.
Coach Jaroslav Šilhavý will have to do without several mainstays, such as Patrik Schick, Antonín Barák, Tomáš Holeš and Lukáš Masopust.
Furthermore, the national team tried to get Hovorka, Provod and Ševčík, but they are not available due to their health condition.
The only newcomer is Adam Vlkanova, who had a great season in Hradec Králové. Václav Černý also returns to the national team after a long time.
Šilhavý is counting on a permanent trio of goalkeepers, with Vladimír Coufal returning to the defence after an absence in March.
Ondřej Lingr earned his second nomination in the midfield, and Václav Jurečka in the attack.
