Muradov is going to fight again!
Makhmud Muradov is a man of many faces. On the one hand, a professional athlete who fights in the highest MMA league in the world. This weekend, he will be fighting at the spectacular UFC 280 gala, which features fights from the greatest fighters in the world.
This will be his fifth fight in the UFC, and so far he holds a winning record of 3-1. He’ll look to increase that against Caio Borralho. But it won’t be an easy mission. The opponent from Brazil already has UFC experience under his belt and his 12-1 record suggests that the Uzbek has another tough challenge ahead of him.
On the other hand, he has already started his own MMA organization in Uzbekistan, the Muradov Professional League, where he serves as owner and promoter. In addition, he had a daughter with his then partner Monika Bagarova in 2020, so he’s certainly not bored.
In an interview with Kaocko.cz, he revealed an offer that will make your jaw drop
He is currently under contract with the UFC for two fights, after which he plans to extend his contract with the organization. But now he has revealed that he has no shortage of offers to fight from other organizations.
“I’m in the UFC, I’ll have two fights, I’ll extend my contract and see what happens next,” he said in an interview with Kaocko.cz. “When I’m done in the UFC, I will definitely fight here in the Czech Republic and I will close my career in Uzbekistan, probably in my organization,” he outlined possible next steps in his career as a professional athlete.
“We will see what the offers will be,” said the 32-year-old fighter. “I got one offer from ONE FC, I was there and they told me that if I’m free they have a good offer for me,” he outlined the offer from one of Asia’s biggest organizations.
“I was looking at the ceiling when I saw the money, ” he said. “It was five million for the match and five million for the win, that’s a lot of money,” he said.
