Mourinho defends the quality of Slavia. Sarri quipped that AS is facing a friendly before the derby with Lazio, the Portuguese brushed it off cruelly

Praise for Slavia before and after the first match, joy from the trip to Prague and the subsequent defense of the Sešiovans’ qualities. José Mourinho has shown himself to be a great professional so far, winning over the Slavie fans with his statement at Wednesday’s press conference.

What the two matches between Roma and Slavia have in common is that AS had a big league game immediately afterwards. The confrontation in Italy was followed by a clash with Inter Milan, which was especially charged because of the controversial end of Romelu Lukaku in the Milanese team.

Inter, the reigning Serie A leader, won 1-0, but this time AS have a possibly even more important game on their schedule. A city derby with Lazio, who have a tough Champions League battle with Feyenoord Rotterdam on their hands.

“AS Rome has it as a friendly, we had to play for blood, it was like a war. That’s thefundamental difference,” Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri commented on his team’s 1-0 win.

Sarri is also lying to himself. Even if Mourinho saves in Prague, the Lazio coach cannot say a word. He himself was very sparing with Lazio in the cups last year, even to the extent that they were relegated from the Europa League group to the Conference.
