Juventus Torino have not had a good season. The famous Italian team is in third place in Serie A, but 23 points behind Inter.
Like AC Milan, Juventus have decided to change their head coach for the next competition.
Needless to say, the dismissal of the current manager was already speculated during the recently concluded season. Massimiliano Allegri lasted 149 games on the Juventus bench after his return to the club in the 2021/22 season. In previous years, Allegri has registered a very successful season with the Turin giant.
He won the championship title five times and the domestic cup four times. However, just after his return, he did not build on his successful times, although he did win the Coppa Italia with the Old Lady in the 2023/24 season.
In any case, Juventus will go into the new season with a new coach, who according to Italian media will be Thiago Motta. He should be officially announced by the club within the next week. The forty-one-year-old Italian is set to sign until 2027.
Based on reports by Tuttosport, whose information is also shared by Football Italia, Juventus are expected to announce a new coach earlier than the aforementioned AC. In fact, the Rossoneri parted ways with Stefano Pioli at the end of the season, with Paulo Fonseca of Lille set to become the new manager.
The Turin side are also currently working on the arrival of several new signings. During the summer transfer window, the club’s management would like to bring in this trio of players – Michele Di Gregorio, Riccardo Calafiori and Teun Koopmeiners.
