Ja Morant decided the game in New Orleans at the last second. Klay Thompson has already jumped to 8th place in the historical tables of three-point shooters ahead of Vince Carter and Damian Lillard crossed the 20,000 points mark in the NBA.

Morant, after a 25-game suspension, decided the game in New Orleans

New Orleans Pelicans vs Memphis Grizzlies (113:115) was decided by a last second shot by returning Ja Morant. He returned to the NBA after more than eight months of absence caused by a 25-game suspension from the NBA management for videos with a gun spread on social media.

After serving his sentence, he showed tremendous effort and was on the floor for virtually everything important. He had 34 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds in the game. And he also notched a highlight moment when he sent up the winning shot with the horn announcing the end of the game. Truly a comeback with everything.

Memphis has struggled mightily without their shooting star this season with a 6-19 record. It looks like they could rise from 13th place in the Western Conference with the Sinner back on the boards. Morant really is literally fired up for basketball after a long time.

Klay Thompson ranks 8th among three-point shooters

The game Goldens State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics (132:126) was decided in overtime. More precisely, the traditional Warriors star Stephen Curry. Most visible to all was his teammate Klay Thomson, who made 6 threes in the game and jumped to 8th place in the historical tables ahead of Vince Carter with a total of 2291 three-point shots made.

Damian Lillard surpasses 20,000 points in the NBA

In the Milwaukee Bucks vs. San Antonio Spurs (132:119), Damian Lillard was the game’s leading scorer with 40 points, his season high.

He became the 51st player in NBA history to reach the 20,000-point mark. He reached that mark in 794 games played. That makes him the 17th fastest basketball player to reach that mark.

His teammate Jannis Adetokunbo notched his second triple-double of the season and 37th of his career overall, behind 11 points, 14 rebounds and, most notably, 16 assists, which benefited Lillard. Only seven other basketball players have scored at least 20,000 points this season.

Lillard is along with only three other players, which are Lebron James, Stephen Curry and James Harden. They are the only players to score 20,000 points, collect 5,000 assists and make at least 2,000 three-point baskets.
