The Czech national football team met with a very changed line-up, the reason was the clash with the MOL Cup, because of which the leading league teams decided not to let players into the national teams.
As a result, several newcomers had to be nominated, including Olomouc players Jan Navrátil and Mojmir Chytil, who started in the starting line-up against the Faroe Islands.
The match played in Olomouc was attended by a large number of fans, thanks to the fact that organized groups of children were given free tickets.
The line-up did not inspire much respect, many debutants did not get a chance in the starting line-up, the average age of the line-up was over 27 years old.
Chytil, however, was one of the youngest players and hoped to score his debut goal. And he did it without the slightest difficulty.
By the way, we published an extensive interview with Chytil about how he almost quit at the age of 17, whether he got a call from coach Trpišovský or about the transfer from Sigma?
The striker from Olomouc Sigma, who is widely speculated to be transferring to Slavia in Prague this winter, scored his first shot after a centre by Vladimir Coufal, working the ball well and then firing a long-legged shot.
In the 13th minute, the Czechs led 1:0. Six minutes later, Chytil took advantage of Tomas Soucek’s offer and did not hesitate in front of the goalkeeper, 2:0.
His best goal came in the 23rd minute. Jaromír Zmrhal found him with his centre and Chytil sent the ball to the bar with his head, 3: 0. He scored a hat-trick in the space of ten minutes and will most likely never forget this match for the rest of his life.
