Mocked Scottish football at its peak! Close to two teams in the Champions League group next season
Scottish football is not very popular in the Czech Republic. It can be blamed on the clashes between Slavia and Sparta and Rangers, but it must be admitted that the two best teams in the competition are excellent in Europe. Both can play in the Champions League group stage next season.

The Scottish league is dominated by two teams, Rangers and Celtic from the capital Glasgow. Few would say that the Scots are so successful in European competitions that they are ninth in the coefficient.
And it is to be expected that nothing will change in the near future, especially with the elimination of rival Russia. In this edition, the Scots were mainly driven by Rangers footballers, who reached the Europa League final.
Yet if we look at recent clashes with Slavia and Sparta, Rangers have not looked that good to reach this stage.
However, if they manage to win the competition, they will play the group stage of the Champions League. Celtic, who have a six-point lead over Rangers in the league with three rounds to go, will also play there.
This shouldn’t be missed, so it is quite possible that we will see both Glasgow sides in the group stage of the millionaire competition.
The Czech teams can only dream about that. The champion will jump into the Champions League preliminary rounds, the rest will play in the Conference Europa League preliminary rounds.
The Cup winner can improve, but only if Rangers win the Europa League, as everything would then shift and the Cup winner would play the Europa League preliminary round.
