Ligue 1 is looking interesting. Three teams have the same number of points. Unsurprisingly, PSG, the biggest team in the French league in recent years, is among them. Even this season they are expected to go for the title.
And so far, it looks like it might work out. Lionel Messi and Neymar are playing in great form, and Kylian Mbappé is also starting to play, who in the first few games looked not only unconvincing but also rather unhappy.
However, after five league games, the whole trio can boast great numbers. Neymar reigns supreme in the scorers and passers charts with seven goals and six assists. Mbappé is the second top scorer with five goals, while Messi has three goals and four assists.
And it was the star trio that also drove Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Toulouse. Neymar and Mbappé scored one goal each, while Messi was content with the role of a passer and assisted both goals.
According to WhoScored, Messi was the best player of the match. He created four chances, scored three successful dribbles and had a rating of 8.8.
PSG will be looking to put on a show at Nantes this weekend.
