When the news broke on Thursday evening that Lionel Messi was leaving Barcelona, more than one Blaugranas fan shed a tear. However, it gave internet creatives a few bullets for memes, with Sergio Agüero in particular being the protagonist.

Even Messi’s sad departure from his beloved Barcelona can be made fun of, especially when Sergio Agüero was roasted. After years at Manchester City, the Argentine striker decided to leave for Catalonia to play with one of his best friends, Lionel Messi. But they didn’t even train together and Messi is already gone.
