Meatloaf in a bun on a jersey? Check out the ad on the sleeve of the SV Ried team, which is bite-sized

The fall from the top competition naturally brings with it a lot of problems, which are also connected with sponsors. This can be said of the Austrian team SV Ried, who had to take the credit of a sponsor who paid for the meatloaf on their jerseys.

The fall from the top competition naturally brings with it a lot of problems, which are also connected with sponsors. This can be said of the Austrian team SV Ried, who had to take the credit of a sponsor who paid for the meatloaf on their jerseys.

It probably doesn’t have anything on the 1978 Colorado Caribous jerseys, which have been described by many as the ugliest jerseys in history, but it is an interesting quirk.

Yet last season, SV Ried were still playing in the top Austrian league, where they made their way after the 2019/20 season, but virtually always struggled to stay in the last rounds.

Last season, however, it didn’t work out anymore, as SV Ried took only 14 points in the table, while the first non-relegation SCR Altach took 19 points.

The Bundesliga table was dominated by RB Salzburg, who defended their top spot ahead of second-placed Sturm Graz. However, the strongest Austrian side has a squad value many times higher than the rest of the league. Its dominance is therefore not surprising.

SV Ried, however, has undergone a major renewal after its relegation to the second league, which has not only affected the sponsors but also the players themselves.

Currently we find him in 9th place after less than 4 rounds played, having won only one of 4 matches.

Next week they will visit FC Liefering, who are in a much better position. So far, it doesn’t look like the funny jerseys are helping to distract him from their better results.
