McGregor the fastest earning fighter on the planet. How much did he earn per minute of his fight?
Conor McGregor has been named the fastest-earning fighter on the planet ahead of Canelo Alvarez and Tyson Fury. Jake Paul isn’t doing too badly in that regard either.

McGregor the fastest earning athlete of the last two years
Irish megastar Conor McGregor hasn’t fought since July 2021, when he broke his fibula during a trilogy with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. He is now in full recovery and is almost back to full fitness.
Two losses, just twelve minutes in the cage in the last two years, and a nagging injury. All of which the mixed martial arts legend has had to deal with. However, the situation is somewhat mitigated by the fact that Talksport has come up with.
The aforementioned source claims that although McGregor hasn’t exactly been a twice active fighter in recent years, having only two losses to the aforementioned Poirier in the aforementioned period, he is still the fastest earning fighter on the planet. He has reportedly earned 150 million Czech crowns per minute of his time in the octagon.
Far behind the Irish MMA legend is Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez
That’s a lot more than boxer Canelo Alvarez, who ranked second on the list of “fastest earning athletes” in 2022. He earned 37 million in one minute between the ropes.
The Mexican boxing legend attempted to enter the super welterweight waters this May, challenging Dmitry Bivol for the WBA title. But the undefeated Russian was too big a mouthful and Canelo notched his second career loss. He then completed the trilogy with Golovkin in September, defending the WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF super middleweight titles.
Tyson Fury rounds out the top three, while Jake Paul also has decent numbers
Heavyweight Tyson Fury rounds out the pair of fighters. He completes the top three of the fastest earning fighters on the planet with earnings of 27 million CZK for 60 seconds spent in the ring. Although the British boxing legend has announced his retirement from fighting, he has again revoked his decision.
We last saw Gypsy King in May this year when he sold out London’s Wembley Shrine in the Battle of Britain. His opponent was British boxer Dyllian Whyte, who lasted just six rounds with Fury before a crushing knockout of the undefeated legend ended the fight.
Coming close to the numbers of the aforementioned combat sports legends was Jake Paul. He earned a respectable 18 million Czech crowns in the same time period. The young youtuber shocked the martial arts world less than a month ago when he defeated legendary MMA fighter Anderson Silva in a boxing match and remains undefeated.
