Mbappé’s mother spoke about the future. How are the negotiations with PSG going?

Kylian Mbappé is a PSG player, but his contract expires in the summer and there is not much open talk about extending it. But now his mother has spoken out about the future of the French gem. What did she say?

PSG still haven’t agreed a new contract with Kylian Mbappé, and his current one expires in the summer.

Real Madrid are very interested in the player. There is a risk that the Spanish club could steal him from the Parisian club. But apparently negotiations between Mbappé and PSG are still ongoing. The French star’s mother has also confirmed this.

“We are currently in talks with PSG and everything looks very good. I met with Leonardo (PSG sporting director) on Monday. One thing is for sure, Kylian will do everything to help the club win the Champions League,” Fayza Lamari told Le Parisien.

For Mbappé, one thing is said to be important: “Football must fulfil him. If he is unhappy, he is able to say he is ending his career. He often says this. Everything can change for him overnight.”

So the future of the French star will be debated for some time to come. In July, he openly told PSG that he would like to change his jersey. He confirmed this in a recent interview with RMC Sport.

“I wanted the club to get money for me to bring in a quality replacement. PSG gave me a lot, I was always happy here. That’s why I communicated my desire to leave in advance,” Mbappé revealed.

But PSG don’t want to hear anything about his departure. That’s why it went out on a limb and it will be interesting to see how the whole situation plays out in the end.
